Care, Prayer, and Share
Prayer and Share says it all. This is a weekly time for women to come together for fellowship and ministry. The ladies meet during the summer months when the Bible Study is not in session. We meet each Tuesday at 10 AM in Room 2106 throughout the summer. Childcare up to 5 years old is available upon request.
WOW: Women of the Word
Women of all ages and walks of life are invited and encouraged to attend our WOW Bible Study every Tuesday morning at 9:45AM in the Gym. We enjoy food, fellowship, prayer, and a teaching series from Dawn Dunlap titled “Words in The Word”. Please join our group of wonderful ladies as we connect, grow, serve, and GO! We look forward to welcoming you to this study soon.
Beth Moore Bible Study
God will never give up on you! Discover this powerful truth in “David: Seeking a Heart Like His.” Women are welcome to join this study on Thursdays at 10:00 AM in Room 2100 of the Education Building.
“Fortress” Single Mother’s Ministry
A ministry to Single Moms and their children. Our vision is to give a “hands up” to these mothers and their children by providing spiritual, emotional and practical support. This group meets every Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm at Calvary in Room 2106 of the Education Building. For more information please contact Patricia Anderson at firstname.lastname@example.org or Milly Fragosa via phone at 407-644-1199 Ext. 8132 or via email at email@example.com
Hooks and Needles
The Calvary Hooks and Needles Club is a talented group of ladies that meet on the third Friday of each month from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Room 2100 of the Education Building for the purpose of crocheting and knitting baby hats, booties, and blankets for newborns in the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit at Winnie Palmer Hospital.
They also make prayer shawls for those in the Calvary family that are house bound and can no longer get out. Needlecraft ideas are shared with one another and items for the hospital and Calvary members are collected. Those who already know how to crochet or knit are welcome to join, as well as those who would like to learn. Patterns are easy and will be provided. Donations of baby yarn would be greatly appreciated. For more information, please contact Lynne Foley at (407) 951-6735 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
