In a world full of noise and distraction, it's easy to compartmentalize our faith to Sundays. But the truth is, you were Made for Mondays—created to be a person of influence in your everyday life. As a Christian, you're not just meant to attend church, you're meant to be the church in every sphere of your life.
Jesus said in Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” That doesn’t just mean stepping onto a pulpit—it means stepping into your workplace, your family, your community, and yes, even your HOA meeting, with purpose.
You Belong in Every Sphere
Too often, we assume that the world is hostile to faith and that we don’t “fit” in certain spaces. But here's the truth: You are important in that sphere. You are not a visitor—you are planted there by God's design.
Whether you’re in business, education, entertainment, media, government, or family, you have permission and a commission from God to bring His light. Every mountaintop of influence in our society is fertile ground for the kingdom of God. And you are the yeast God has mixed into the dough of this world, bringing transformation from the inside out.
Sacred Work, Secular Space
Let’s break the myth that Christianity belongs in a separate “religious” mountaintop. The church is not a building—it’s the people of God living out their purpose in the world. That means when you're driving Uber, leading a meeting, teaching a class, or raising your kids—you are doing sacred work.
As Colossians 3:23 reminds us: “Whatever you do, do it as unto the Lord.” Your daily tasks become sacred not because of what you do, but why you do it. When you lead with excellence, treat people with compassion, and live with integrity, your life becomes a testimony that God is real, He is good, and He honors those who earnestly pursue Him.
Find Your Mountain, Live Your Mission
You may not be called to stand behind a pulpit, but you are absolutely called to stand in your sphere. Maybe your mountain is the classroom, the boardroom, the kitchen, or the film studio. Wherever it is, you are a carrier of the kingdom.
Ask the Holy Spirit, “What are you doing in this space, and how can I partner with You?” That’s how revival starts—not just in sanctuaries, but in Starbucks, city halls, and break rooms.
Christian Influence in Orlando and Beyond
Here in Orlando, we see firsthand how God is positioning people across industries to influence the culture with truth, hope, and love.
You don’t need a title to lead. You need obedience, faithfulness, and a kingdom mindset. Like Priscilla and Aquila, who used their business to plant churches and mentor young leaders. Or like Cornelius, a Roman soldier whose faith became the catalyst for his entire household.
Let the Word Become Flesh—Through You
“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” (John 1:14) That same Word is now in you. So let your life be the message. Let your words be seasoned with grace. Let your presence radiate hope.
Because the world doesn’t just need more sermons—it needs more Christians who live like Jesus on Mondays and throughout the week.

Pastor Kevin,

nThank you for such an impactful reminder of our purpose and calling beyond the walls of the church. This message deeply resonates with me, especially the idea that our daily work and interactions are sacred opportunities to share God's grace and influence the world around us. Calvary Orlando continues to be my spiritual bedrock, inspiring me to live intentionally every day, not just Sundays. Grateful for your leadership and this powerful teaching!
