You Failed Again… Now What? | What Jesus Does After You Fall

You gave your life to Jesus… and then you messed up again.
So what happens now?
Here’s the truth: failure doesn’t disqualify you. It reveals your need for Jesus.

Why Do Christians Still Struggle With Sin?
Following Jesus does not mean instant perfection.
You are a new creation in Christ.
Sin no longer has dominion over you.
God always provides a way out.
And still, you may fall.
Even Paul said he struggled. So if you’re asking, “why do I keep sinning after salvation?” you are not alone. You are growing.

God Runs Toward You, Not Away
We often focus on the sin in our lives.
But the Bible focuses on the Savior.
Look at David. He failed badly. But instead of hiding, he ran to God in repentance.
You don’t move forward by hiding your failure from God. You move forward by bringing it to God.

Conviction Is Not Condemnation
After you fall, you will feel something.
  1. Condemnation says: you’re done
  2. Conviction says: come closer
We see God in conviction. With conviction comes a deeper desire to be more like Jesus, and less like our old sinful nature.
God is not rejecting you. He is inviting you back.

Jesus Restores You After Failure
Peter denied Jesus three times.
Yet Jesus did not replace him. He restored him.
He met Peter where he was and reminded him of his calling, the calling that He had placed on his life.
Your failure does not cancel your calling.

What Do You Do Next?
  1. Run to God immediately
  2. Be honest about your sin
  3. Trust in God’s grace and not your feelings
  4. Step back into your calling

You Still Belong
If you feel like you’ve messed up too much, hear this:
God has not walked away from you.
You are not disqualified.
You still have a calling.
There is a place for you.
Right now.
