Unexpected Places, Unmistakable Purpose

Life rarely unfolds the way we expect. Yet throughout Acts 16, we see that God directs the steps of the godly; even when those steps lead us through unexpected places.

Paul and Silas faithfully followed God's leading, but instead of comfort, they found themselves in prison. Rather than griping, they chose prayer and worship, trusting that God was still in control. Their faith became a testimony to everyone around them, reminding us that our response during hard seasons reveals what we truly believe about God.

The miracle that followed wasn't just about the prison doors opening; it was about a jailer finding salvation through Jesus Christ. Paul and Silas recognized that one person's eternity mattered so much more than their comfort and freedom.

This message reminds us of four powerful truths:

1. God has a purpose for your life.
2. Prayer and worship should be your first response.
3. Never lose sight of people who need Jesus.
4. The people you walk through life's hardships with matter.

No matter what season you're facing, God wastes nothing. Every trial, every victory, every hardship, and every unexpected detour can be used for His glory because the Lord directs the steps of the godly.

As you go into this week, trust that God has intentionally positioned you where you are. Your workplace, neighborhood, family, and daily interactions are opportunities to live out the Gospel and point others toward Jesus.
